appears like the Lollipop updates just triggered a domino effect among the smartphone manufacturers. Nexus line-up should be the very first to get the Lollipop update but it’s delayed because of a weird battery hog bug in the final build. The next manufacturer any individual would look as much as is Motorola who is renowned for quick updates but LG would be in no one’s hit list. Surprisingly, LG revealed the Lollipop roll-out is scheduled for the coming week.
We’ve already seen a firmware leak for the Korean LG G3 (F400S), now it’s time for the worldwide LG G3 individuals to get some Lollipop like but it’s costly. controversial enough, the KDZ firmware for the D855 has been made available via a teaser at LGBBS which provided the firmware at a cost around $200. However, you don’t have to pay $200 to get the Lollipop running on your LG G3 as few great Samaritans over at XDA collected the funds and bought the firmware already and then provided to the LG G3 fans for free.
The F400S build which was released earlier was a bit buggy as it was developed on an unfinished LRX16E verion of Lollipop but this time around the firmware was developed on the LRX21M version which is quite much prepared to rock your device. So, you can consider it the final version of the update but we aren’t sure what LG is as much as after seeing it among the big boys.
Anyone who is eager to set up the update on your LG G3 can grab the ROM data from the download link below and flash it utilizing the LG flash tool. This build works only with the worldwide variant of the LG G3 with the design number D855, so don’t be hyper-adventurous and try it on other variants.
